*2023: I am happy to share that our Huawei Finland FiRC-NLP team (Fadi Hassan, Md. Saroar Jahan, and myself) achieved outstanding results in the Hate Speech and Offensive Content Identification (HASOC-FIRE 2023) shared tasks. Participating in four shared tasks, our team ranked 1st in three tasks and 2nd in the fourth task. For more details, visit the official HASOC 2023 website.

*2023: Our team FiRC-NLP (Abdessalam Bouchekif, Fadi Hassan, and myself) achieved excellent rankings in the SemEval 2023 Task 10 (Explainable Detection of Online Sexism) challenge:
o Task A (Sexism Detection): Ranked 2nd out of 84 participating teams.
o Task B (Category Classification): Ranked 7th out of 69 participating teams.
o Task C (Fine-grained Classification): Ranked 4th out of 63 participating teams.

*2017: For the second time, I was active participant in LIUM team which were ranked first in Task 1: Multimodal Machine Translation of WMT 2017 Multimodal Machine Translation Shared Task. Official results are published: here and it will be presented in the SECOND CONFERENCE ON MACHINE TRANSLATION (WMT17), September 7-8, 2017, Copenhagen, Denmark.

*2016: I was active participant in LIUM team which were ranked first in both tasks of WMT 2016 Multimodal Machine Translation Shared Task. Official results are published in: A Shared Task on Multimodal Machine Translation and Crosslingual Image Description in the first conference of MT, 11-12 August 2016, Berlin, Germany.

*2016: Our paper entitled "From Arabic User-Generated Content to Machine Translation: Integrating Automatic Error Correction" won the best presentation award at CICLING 2016: 17th International Conference on Intelligent Text Processing and Computational Linguistics.
